I highly doubt these tubes provide oil for the turbos. Yeah I've noticed that too about BMW owners installing oil catch cans and completely agree with it since most are looking for performance upgrades. I think if most people see the fumes that come out of your crankcase, even after being filtered, they will probably consisder an oil catch can instead of a CAI as their first mod. Though most setups that people run are bad for the environment.

Btw, with how fast turbo impellers spin and the amount of heat it builds up, I think nearly all turbo systems need oil for lubrication and cooling.
