Looks like Canadians have the worst luck with batteries...mine actually had a few high discharge warning a few months ago the SA told me its common here because of when we start it in the cold we run too many accessories at once fans on high, steering wheel heater, seat heaters ect
mine is always parked in a heated garage or under ground parking and is rarely left outside for more than a few hours. It however hasn't went dead or failed to start on me yet.
Anyway my question is, is it hard on the battery to trickle charge it? If they say the computer needs to programmed with a new battery or the vehicles charging schedule will shorten the life of the battery wouldn't charging the battery basically have the same effect?
