I oil change every 6.5k top up every 1k lol
plugs every 15k, soon to do diff/gear oil and water pump but its been a solid chariot. Pulls like a train and eats tires (probably because of how I drive) lol. I also trickle charge the battery every 2 weeks on a sunday and its still the same 2012 battery.
I toyed with the x5m but I didnt like the 6 speed box, as my DD the extra 6mpg would put me back at the pump more often than I would like for the same journeys at the same speed. I don't consider it a step down to the X5M its just more useful
I run eagle f1 tires all round, made a big difference even though they were a pain to source. As long as you maintain it you'll be fine, its just a beast of an engine so it requires that level of care imo.
