Ok! "E70 X5M with a good indy/mech",....and a healthy balance in bank account! There are no free rides when it comes to high performance vehicles! It's not that one can't do their own work on these vehicles,...often times,...it's that the work is so complicated it just easier to pay someone,....and move on.
Either way,..I think we both can agree that the E70 X5M is more "BMW" than the non-M F15. There is an old saying,..."there's no replacement for displacement"! Well, I'm here to say,..yes there is:,...The replacement for displacement is "twin turbos",...and and or "twin turbos and electric motors"!
Just think,....50 years from now, the saying might be,..."there's no replacement for Voltage and Amps!"
