The digital readout suffers from the same "error". There are actually 2 lines of code which affect the speedo readings. One for the gage and one for the digital readout. But PT will fix it for good.
It's pretty interesting when you get into it because the "error" isn't linear as you would expect it to be if it were in fact error. It increases with speed.
