I'm actually not sure but looking at pictures, the double slat has 7 sets per kidney and the single slat is 7 slats per kidney so spacing should be similar. The double slat would remove the need for the plate to offset, however. It should still fit but the plate would rest on a set of slats on one side but only 1 slat out of the adjacent set of slats...may look a little odd.
