Yeah, it's really hit or miss.

My biggest issue with them is they tend to be made by the lowest bidder, and have very little (if any) testing, let alone any kind of certification stating they won't shred to pieces once you hit 60mph.

At least when buying OEM, or from a longstanding aftermarket manufacturer like BBS or HRE you know they have put the time and effort into making sure things are made right in order to pass TUV certification, and that they will be around in 6mos or a year should any issues pop up.

Granted, I'm not saying all reps are bad or dangerous, but I'm personally not willing to risk the safety of my wife and kids, just for the sake of saving a few bucks.
