Gents am considering a 2008 e70 X5 4.8i as alternate vehicle for SuV needs (large item purchases, ski use, pulling car to track motorcyles, and hauling out dogs around to kennel) and such. Found a good vehicle that is dealer maintained full service Hx and all for good price $23k w/78k on odometer. Considering pulling trigger if all aligned but wanted to know from community is there any heads up issues with this year or model to look out for? Had a 2010 X6 3.5 and multiple BMWs including my current 650ix GC so am familiar w/brand. But other than an out of warranty BMW v8 any glaring concerns out there?

Ps car does not have a tow package but am told it's an easy add on at dealership or aftermarket?
