Normally I might agree. Normally. But like you said, "if there is a rear seat" which in my case there isn't which by European law (which is the same in most US states I'm pretty sure) this was 100% legal. Also the rear seat area in the 911 is small. Very small. Maybe not the safest place for a 4 foot tall 3 year old especially if I get rear ended in a rear engine vehicle. You could make an argument for both cases but this was also just a one time thing. My children are rarely if ever in my 911. I have a daily beater for that.
