Thanks for the additional info Saleen. Was really trying to avoid cutting the nipples off in case I wanted to go plan B and just use the skirts that were meant to be used instead of the running boards but seems impossible otherwise.
Good to know that the two ends dont fit perfectly, makes me lean more towards not cutting anything and just buying the proper supports and using the skirts instead. Decisions.. decisions..
