for example, a stock X6M output 555hp on 23psi of boost, and stage 1 will output 600hp on 27psi of boost, stage 2 will output 700hp on over 30psi of boost. Of course the higher the stage, the engine will run hotter and tend to be easier to detonate(kaboom) so usually higher stage tune car required to run with meth and/or race gas
