You gotta go though a lot of posts on the LED conversion to find it, but the short story is to replace the FRM with a new one from the dealer. MAKE SURE IT HAS THE ORANGE DOT STICKER ON IT!), then it has to be coded by autologic or a similar system by an independent BMW repair shop. BMW will not be able to code it for you (I tried, they failed). I know this is a pain in the a--, but once its done, you will love them.
Good on you for giving the jeep to your neighbors kid! That is an awesome thing to do. I know he will be thrilled.
