Wow, no answers in a year.

I am getting close to doing my own rear brakes on my 2012 50i and I have been searching for info on this job, particularly if ppl typically replace anything other than pads/rotors, and sensors.
I have priced out the major stuff (rotors, set screws, pads, sensors) but am trying to determine if anything else is needed before I go ripping in there.

Like: parking brake shoes & springs? pad retaining clips?

And is the Wurth anti-squeal spray recommended? Does anyone regret not using it (or similar)?

I just came up with two new questions:
-I read there is some sort of adjuster that screws out as the pads wear, that needs to be reset?
-What about the automatic parking brake mechanism, how is that involved?

Well on that last one I just found this link, which helps.

Looking at this it appears the auto parking brake uses the caliper itself and not separate shoes...

Will update this is I find more / better info.
