An other question:

When hardwiring a dashcam or radar detector, you have to find + and - in to the cars wiring harnas. That's a problem easy to solve.
But than the next isue:
my dash cam can get power by 2 different kind of cables:
- the first is a sort of mobilephone connector on one side and on the other side of the cable is an USB-plug;
- second one is the same mobile phone-plug ( this side goes into the cam) and on the other side is the plug that goes into the cigaret lighter.

in both situations the connecting cable is the same. Black, round about 3 mm.

If i want to use this cable ( one of them) to hardwire the cam, how do i split this black cable ? how many threads are inside this cable just 2 ?? or more ?
and which one is pos and whice one is neg. ?
If there are any experts on this matter, please your help an advice.
