I was in Beijing a few years ago and I saw a ton of replica Toyotas on the streets. But you could totally tell they were shoddily made. You gotta keep in mind a lot of the Chinese people make far far less in a month than what a lot of people in America make in a week. For them, it's more about what gets them to point A to point B rather than the brand of the car.
