In the mid 90K mile range with my own and I've had VERY little issues. Probably around the same cost as mentioned above or a bit less. I personally feel it's about how you MAINTAIN the vehicle you own. At times it's out of your control but majority of the time it isn't

I've had my X5M for about two years now. I got it with 29K miles and now I'm sitting on 44K miles with 0 issues. I do have a warranty, but consider that I've driven it about 15K miles with out any problems.
This is the longest I've ever owned a "performance" can and I love it. The only issue that was mentioned is the gas mileage, it's atrocious. With that said, my best friend just got a MBZ ml350 for his wife. He called me concerned that there was something wrong with the gas mileage at 12mpg+- city. I get 8-12city depending on how I'm driving so the point is that all older models will suffer from less than advertised mpg.
