Well the problem is that the hybrid wires run right by the heat shield. The bmw tech said it could cause problems. But the issue as it appears is that when my tech spoke to the efi rep, he said the dp have only been tested on x5m and x6m. which contradicts what he told me before ensuring they will fit the n63 without issue. Now I have downpipes I can't use which don't fit and I'm out $1000 in labor charges. hopefully efi straightens this out.
