Cause damage? No.
Increased wear? Yes.
I would still keep using it. You're going to have to do brakes eventually anyways.
Some may argue using the e-brake will help it last longer as it keeps the cables moving, sometimes rust builds up inside the cable if they're not used very much, at least on manual cars I've owned.
