(one week ownership 40k miles)
Just went to BMW since my wife got a engine light. (she said a water faucet. lol)
The Diesel preheat module was giving the error code.
Light is out now but will probably come back.
BMW ordered the part what will be replaced next week.
The service guy told me that it will take a full day since the job includes removing valve cover and "digging even lower".
I asked the service guy if that is a common X5 problem. He said that is the first time they have seen that issue.
