I have the same setup and I agree that it is tough to compare both. Just got back from a family ski trip, fully loaded up the x5m on winter tires and left everything in the dust or better said slush. Took the m3 to work today, different experience and lots of fun as well. The gas mileage on the X is terrible, terrible, did I say, terrible?
