Mine are definitely noticeably louder from outside the car, especially at idle. More than one person has asked me if that was right. When I first got it back, the exhaust sound in motion was noticeable, but it isn't anymore. I guess I've had it a little over a month.
My son thinks that the new exhaust sound is cool, not that anyone should base anything on the opinion of a 10 year old.
