After lease return, the bumpers on my 2012 were re-sprayed by the bodyshop that does work for
Westchester BMW (part of the
Ray Catena Auto Group).
The bumpers were pretty scratched up. The shop did an excellent job matching the Space Grey! I insisted that they remove the bumpers to do the repair and respray. I didn't want any over spray on the fenders. See pics.
I am told that they employ "old school" Italian auto body repair technicians, who also do work on Ferrari's and Maserati's for Ray Catena's group. I don't believe that the body shop is a BMW Certified shop.
