A BMW X5M with 100K miles and no warranty? Yowzerz. Just make sure you receive a FULL SERVICE HISTORY.
My previous vehicle was a 2004.5 Dodge Ram 2500. I sold it last year with 110K or so miles for an insane amount of money. What made it so valuable? It was extremely well taken care of and I had a binder of all the work that had been done. The gentlemen who was looking at it drove 15 hours to come see the truck actually inspected the binder overnight with a fine comb. The next day, he handed me $23K in cash and drove off into the sunset.
Moral of the story: if you know the full history of the vehicle and it's been well maintained, you don't need to worry.
