I'm really surprised that there has not been any software adjustments by the tuning community.
With my ESS tune, I'm not sure if its the reclabiration of the software, but it does rev a lot quicker and up shifts and downshifts slightly better with the tune.

I've noticed it. I only drive in m mode with the paddles. It's much more noticeable when cold obviously but it never quite goes away. However I only shift that low when the car is warming up so it doesn't bother me too much.
