Alpine White Bear

Hello guys,

I wanted for about 2 weeks to join the forum and finally made time for it.

Bought about 1 month ago this baby bear with 110k miles on it, coming from a Dodge Nitro, this car is like 3 grades above what my Nitro was from materials, experience and performance. It's a 2010 3.0 XDrive LCI with not as many options but as much as I need it to have a good ride. Would love to get a M sport package on it, but the color combination Alpine White & Savanna Beige interior won me over a better specced Cosmic Black & Mocca or whatever that color is called.

Right now it's pretty basic, just did a few simple mods such as:
  1. Tinted
  2. Grey sport grille
  3. Debadged
  4. Scorschee car mount - love this thing

I have a few ideas in mind for my next mods:
  1. Breyton Race LS 22" Hyper Silver - to be purchased in June from Nerpel Hungary. Still kinda hard to decide between Hyper Silver & Gunmetal, what do you guys think?
  2. Custom bishape steering wheel with retrofit pedals - I wonder how BMW let the car leave the factory with this ugly baggle
  3. Lowering on Eibach 1.2"
  4. BMW Advanced Car Eye - Already purchased, need to schedule for mounting
  5. BMW Performance pedals - on order, should be here in 1 week
  6. Satin Pearl White Wrap & Silver mirrors
  7. Might give Aero Kit a look but I'd have to make the front lower grill black to make it look better.
  8. Performance remap - around +50hp said, well, not really into numbers anyway, just want to have a better boost when I push it on Drive and if the mpg could lower that would be great, if not oh well... I'm happy enough with it compared to my Nitro anyway.

Some other interesting mods but don't think will get on the list:
  1. LED Highlights - saw gixxer doing it in here but I think those fit only on the M
  2. X6M Aluminium Hood - that's a nice one, still debating, kinda expensive mod
  3. Drilled rotors and painted brake calipers - guess I'll need to change the rotors in 1 year might be, so might give some drilled rotors a try
  4. Wrapping in leather complete dash - kinda risky in here, there aren't too many workshops that are high quality, and don't wanna make a good working vehicle clamp & rattle

Attached you can find some pics with my new car and some for inspiration for the mods to come. My Nitro was an amazing ride but nowhere near the BMW as far as comfort & performance goes. Some of the pictures here are not mine, taken from the workshop where I found they do a lot of install for this wheels.

I'm really looking to make this a better car than it is right now and to keep it for another 2-3 years I guess.

Nice to meet you all! Really great rides, inspiring in here.
