Ok, so I took my 2010 50i in because it wasn't starting. Had scheduled to do the service bulletin on the 23rd, but it didn't make it till then. SA calls me back to say that before they do the bulletin, they need to replace the alternator. Apparently, they will replace the battery(it was dead), but first they have to do the alternator. $1800. Truck is out of warranty. Anyone else have an alternator replaced? Did it fix the "increasd discharge" message? I asked them to replace battery first, to see if the alternator was the real culprit. Waitng on repsonse.
