The wife has a '05 X5 4.8is. It is an amazing machine. I really do not know why they do not just cut the BS and put the "M" badge on it.
Any who... We did have one problem with it, and it was fixed under warranty. Other then that, it has been great!!
Also, surprisingly, the gas mileage isn’t that bad.
We are going to order the ’08 X5 4.8is some time in the spring.
