Hi

I have just bought a 2012 x6 m50d and absolutely love it, unfortunately The only thing I'm not very happy with is the fuel economy. The car is averaging 19mpg round town and 28-30mpg on the motorway sat at 70.
I bought this car because of the stated 36mpg combined and was hoping to achieve 25-26 around town and 35-40 on the motorway.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could cause the bad fuel economy?
I have the tyre pressure at 39 psi front and 41 psi rear (read somewhere that this was a good idea on this car?)

There are no faults stored in the car either?

If anyone else has a 50d then what mpg are you getting?
