It's ALWAYS best to follow the car manufacturers recommended tire inflation recommendation.
If you over inflate, you risk blowing a tire especially once you take a longer trip at higher speeds!
Also, if you inflate the tire with a higher or lower pressure then the recommended pressure, and something does happen, it will NOT be covered by any warranty. Neither the car nor the tire manufacturers warranty!
Always measure tire pressure when the tires are cool.
