I'm trying to make some sense of all the info I'm finding while searching for answers about coding. I want to code some things on my X5 and so far it seems like Bimmercode will do what I want. However, I'm going to be adding the OEM BMW trailer wiring, so that will need to be coded to the vehicle. So should I go a different route for coding? Or just have someone else code for the trailer stuff?

I am an iOS user, but also have a Windows laptop just for certain vehicle tuning/programming/etc. So I'm also wondering if I should learn to get into a different type of coding/programming system from the laptop? From what I've seen thus far, those programs seem very complex. I'm also trying not to spend a ton of money on this stuff since I hope to not need to mess with it constantly.
