I believe the maintenance cycle on them is pretty darn long, compared to the rest of the world... Personally I'd advocate to replace them. Especially if they took them out to begin with. That's just lazy on their part.

Typically you don't clean a sparkplug, and re-gapping modern plugs depending on type e.g. iridium, you just don't do. And they are so cheap to begin with.. almost disposable.
