Any good radar detector will work as long as your local LEO is not shooting with Lidar. If they do you will need a laser detector/countermeasure. Enjoy the car it is a lot of fun to drive.

'in order to activate Launch Control on any BMW fitted with this option, all you have to do is: come to a complete stop, press the brake pedal (and keep it that way), activate the Sport+ mode or press the DSC button once (it will partially deactivate the DSC, it won't turn it completely off), tilt the gearshift lever to the left into the manual/sport gate, press the gas pedal all the way down (beyond the kick-down step) and keep it there until the flag appears on the instrument cluster, release the brake pedal and hold on for dear life  |
