The circumference of the front and rear tires need to be within 1 percent of each other or it will cause damage to the transfer case. Do a Google search for tire size calculator (there's a bunch out there) and then type in your values. Also compare the size of your tires visually in person if they are different brands front to back. Learned this the hard way, Michelin tires are spot on with the size they claim, Hankooks are not. Even though my orginal setup should have been less then one tenth of one percent difference, it was actually over 2 percent due to Hankooks sloppy adherence to tire size and caused transfer case errors. I had to keep recalibrating it until I went all Michelin on all fours
