After 6 months and about 6K miles, love the diesel. On a recent trip from Larkspur, CA to Point Reyes on country roads averaging about 45 miles an hour and back we averaged 25 miles per gallon.

Similarly, with 4 people (2 kids), 2 dogs, and a Yakima cargo box, and averaging about 80 on the highway, we got 24.5 MPG, on a trip back to Tahoe. Going to Tahoe (over an hour of uphill driving) we averaged about 21 mpg at similar speeds. Much better mileage than the 17-19 we got in our 2005 MDX.
