Thanks for the reply. I gave serious consideration to the LCI headlights and taillights and deferred exercising that option primarily on the basis of speed to completion. The taillights are relatively easy, however the headlights are significantly more complicated and again, I wanted to initiate and complete the project ASAP. There is also a soft-objective of maintaining the essence of the car's vintage, despite aspects of the body work that could be considered somewhat contradictory here. In short, I am trying to improve the styling of the vehicle within one standard deviation of its original design mean, if that makes sense. But then again, I am always prone to increasing a project's scope!
