Sounds similar to my case. I drive spiritedly too.
I don't know if it has anything to do with BMW brake recall, because I noticed part numbers for X6 brake pads have changed after /08.

I will have it checked in two days. I hope it is just broken sensors. Will post back after the check.
By the way I still have to pay for brake parts like pads even under warranty!
