Yup, totally hip to winter tires - I'm in Colorado and having driven 3 RWD cars (-V wagon, E55 AMG, and then before that my manual G8 GXP) during the winter, this has taught me a lot of respect for Blizzaks and Dunlop Winter Sports. My wife hit a curb on ice while on all-seasons in her Cayenne and that was an expensive lesson.
Speaking of a second set of wheels, what's the smallest diameter wheels we can go with for winter rubber? I assume it's also fine to go with a square as opposed to staggered setup either for the winter set?
