That's what's wrong with people in America. Perception. why is big, safe? and safe for who? the person driving it? what about the person these huge, heavy overpowered machine kill when they hit, or can't avoid in an accident due to the poor handling because of the height and weight. To me it's a scary thought to think of a soccer-mom with kids in the back screaming about their dvd player not working, while on the phone driving a 5000 pound machine with 350hp.
I know I'm generalizing "SUV,SAV" whatever, but......
again, just my opinion.
Uh, reality check.

325xi Touring - 3800 lbs
530xi Touring - 3891 lbs
X3 - 4023 lbs
CL600 - 4473 lbs
Old X5 - 4652 lbs
Honda Odyssey - 4655 lbs
A8 - 4729 lbs
S600 - 4895 lbs
760Li - 4905 lbs
R600 - 4929 lbs
Continental Flying Spur - 5456 lbs

Maybe we should just deny people the right to purchase minivans, and luxury cars in general?
