I love the BMW X Series and will admit that with proper tires they will do alright off road. But they pale in comparison to true off roaders such as Wranglers, any Land Rover, Hummers, G-Wagens, etc. And until they design a suspension with articulation and lockers they will continue to pale off road, however on road is another story
