X5M: Broken Rear Output Shaft

hello everyone! Big car enthusiast from turbo imports to big block chevys. Bikes and boats included. long time reader but this is my first post. I had the right rear output shaft broken. The truck wouldnt operate in D, N or R. And made a loud grinding noise upon going into P (park).

Dealer replaced the output shaft after a few days. Truck still makes funky noises from the transmisson coming directly from under the seat. Not too loud but still noticable if you're on a quiet street or alley.

Now its in for a check engine light....Waiting to see what the dealer says.

Overal, I love this truck! Handles on rails and has plenty of mid to top end power. Lacks low end torque a bit and drinks gas like a mofo. But I like how most people think its a normal X5. Pretty low key.
