It sounds like you were in there already, did you try long extensions w universal joints? It’s been about 2 years I was under there and don’t remember exactly how I did it, but again I don’t recall it being difficult. I took pix of my job and I see I have one w a breaker bar on the strut bolt, hence my suggestion. Post here if you get stuck.
I do recall needing a heat gun to more easily remove the old rotor.
