I'm afraid I am going to be of no use here
conandrum . I never went ahead with the retrofit as I could not source reasonable parts and then BMW forced one of the sites I used to get parts and diagram information (because they think they can play god even after they sell the car to you).
I'll keep watching though to see how you get on.
