I almost feel like it's too late for the stewards to give Max a penalty. There's no good reason that they didn't penalize Max either during the race or less than an hour after.
If the stewards want to turn a blind eye to rule violations to keep the championship close, why only be blind to Redbull? Why not allow McLaren and Ferrari to blatantly break rules so they can also race at the front?
There's no point in having rules if they're not going to enforce them consistently and fairly for all the competitors.
