This is news to me. I hadn't seen any confirmation of BMW adopting an ISG system. Do you remember where you read/heard this?
Speaking of Mercedes ISG, there are rumors they'll begin using a 400V version of the system in some applications which would essentially evolve it from MHEV to HEV.
