I have an X3 and a Cayenne S. The Cayenne absolutely outpowers the X3 but the X3 is much lighter on its feet. I was hoping the X6 would in the middle, the best of all worlds, I won't write it off yet.

If they did that it would not have been produced. They are NOT making a lot of x6's and by using a current platform they could produce the X6. It would be way to much $$$$ if they did anything else. The X5 and Cayenne are the 2best suvs in the market IMO. I sold porsche and currently sell BMW. The Cayenne is really a great vehicle. The X6 should be a nice alternative to the Porsche. I do espically like the Cayenne GTS with the 6 speed manual. If I had a ton of money and needed an SUV I would have a deposit on that car right now.
