We all thank you!
The history of a mothers day is a sad one: It was created to make people realize what we do daily.
Being a mother is seen as something that changes you, but I think it just brings back our own experiences and we repeat them or have a good shrink.
I'm very glad I got to experience this all, but a mothers day should be a smaller thing these days than a fathers day is. Or even better: "I'm a sane adult in some kiddos life" day.
In today's world a mom can support the family and be independent, but a father under the ex's wrath is ruined. A union with two moms or two dads is judged.
A child doesn't need either to flourish. Anyone can be the needed, good role model to any kid out there.
