I have the same issue with my 08. Only happens when it's very cold. This has been brought up on other sites, and more than likely on this one. A couple people have managed to duplicate it for the dealer, or get it recorded, and have the the fan replaced for the heat/ac. It seemed to do the trick. It's too bad manufacturers don't trust us when we have these issue, and just fix what needs to be fixed. I'm sure BMW is WELL aware of this issue.
