But if you read this forum there is hardly any posting of any major issue. A creak coming from a plastic trim piece makes the car something to avoid? My diesel X5 feels so strong that I will not be trading in at the 3 year mark (a first for me for 15 years). I see no reason why I can't keep this car for 10 years if I wanted to. [Yes I did have some plastic trim creaks but I think I have got them]. The only wear and tear item that is expensive is tyres - no suprise given the size and width chosen. Totally DISAGREE with the assessment.
