How low did you go?

So I recently installed KW v1 coils and I believe they're on 16 threads. I started driving around town and I keep scraping the ground when entering/exiting out of driveways with some slope. I don't think it's the front bumper that's scraping but the 2 plastic flaps/pieces that are in front of the front wheels. Anyone experienced similar things or can offer some suggestion?

I'm assuming the only way to avoid scraping is to raise the height some more. Why did BMW put those plastic flaps in the front anyways :mad0260:

Flat battery - what a nightmare!

In fairness, I haven't used my F30 320d for at least a month, probably more. I wouldn't expect a <1 year old car battery to be flat even in that time though.

I came to start my car last night and the remote wouldn't even let me in the car. So I used the emergency key - and everything was completely dead.

I connected a trickle charger and all it did was set the alarm going and the computer screen said "Stop slowly and close hood". Great.

So I tried jump starting from a mate's car. The power was enough to get the computer going properly, and so enough to stop the alarm going crazy constantly. But when I tried starting the engine it would turn over and then cut out.

So I put it back on trickle charge, went to get some food, and came back an hour later when the charger was indicating ~40% charge, connected up to my mate's car again and tried another jump start. This time the power surge stalled my mate's engine (he wasn't there to give it revs this time) but still my engine wouldn't turn over. Obviously this attempt had killed what juice I'd stored in the previous hour so I was back to square one.

I've now left it on trickle charge overnight and will see how it is shortly - I'll probably try another jump start just to give me some extra juice. If it doesn't work I'll be calling out BMW.

I just wanted to post this first though in case anyone has any advice beforehand and to let others know what a pain a flat battery is on this car - I can find very little information on the web about anyone experiencing the same thing (I guess noone else has been silly enough to leave a brand new car sitting doing nothing for so long).

Still, while I've been silly in not running the car for so long but I still don't expect this. And it seems that, due to the large amount of electronics in the F30, the power requirements prior to, and on, ignition are so huge that jump starting on a flat battery just won't work. This seems kinda bonkers to me.

2nd cats or Resonators, which is louder?

when deleted which gives more volume? i know deleting the resonators gives a raspy tone which most hate. ( I like aggressive though). and 2nd cat delete gives deeper sound, which more like. (also a great sound)

I have OEM (2 pipe )mod, and looking for louder sound. So with that said, i am not looking for advise on which sounds better! .whats going to unlock more volume. not looking to delete both btw. one or the other.

Meth Won't stop flowing

I just installed the BMS Meth kit with 1 gallon tank. When I went to prime the pump, the nozzle sprays continuously while the car is idling as soon as it's turned on. I've tried on map 0 and map 3, it flows in both.

The only difference is obviously that the tank is mounted in the trunk instead of the wiper tank.

Jb4 problem

Hey guys, I keep installing my jb4 and a few weeks later I keep getting a check engine light and it's a misfire cylinder. My car has 90k miles right now. I believe my dealer changed my cylinders but I maybe wrong. But is it the jb4 messing up or it's just my jb4? I never had a problem when my car was stock but with the jb4 its giving me a problem. Please someone let me know ASAP, thank you.

BMW Style 95 Front Tire Size Question

Hey guys,

I know there are a million thread out there about style 95 745i oem wheels fitment, but no one seems to have tried to run 245/30 up front. Is this possible on a 07 335i?

I know I may have to run spacers but I'm just wondering. Ill be running 275/30 in the rear and I've heard I'm fine with rolled fenders which I have.

The sizes are 19x9 and 19x10 et24 all around.

Can someone shed some light on this?

Wanted: E92 exhaust or just the X section

But if you do have the full center pipe from the flange to the muffler, I'm interested too

Will E90 sport shocks work on an E46?

I'm putting FSD's on my E92 and taking off the OEM sport suspension shocks. I have an old E46 330 that probably needs new shocks, so can I swap them? Who do you go to find out about whether they'll fit and whether they'll be too stiff - Tire Rack, the dealer? Seems like the connection points should be pretty standard and the weight of the cars are similar. But the suspensions are probably different - 2003 vs. 2009. Just trying to save a couple bucks. Any suggestions?
